The team is being headed by Mrs. Elizabeth Greenidge the Permanent Secretary in the Prime Ministers office, who also sits as the Deputy Chairperson of the National Emergency Advisory Council (NEAC).

The rest of the team is Coordinator Sylvan McIntyre and staffers Valerie Phillips and Christine Lewis.

The highlight of the one-day visit to Carriacou by the NaDMA team is an official function to declare open the Carriacou District Disaster Office which will function out of the Carriacou administrative building for the time being- the district will have its own independent facility later this year.

Speakers at the opening will include PS Greenidge, Coordinator McIntyre and the Coordinator for the District Disaster Office in Carriacou, Bernadette Sylvester.
